At 30 years old I am happily engaged to the love of my life for the last 8 years. We have a beautiful 5 yr old daughter together.

My parents split up when I was only 8 years old. It was not easy for my mother and she went through many hardships as a single mother raising my brother and me. She worked 3 jobs to give us the life we needed to get through all the challenges of growing up. With her working so many hours she barely had time to spend with us.

My mother has taught me that no matter what life throws your way, you have to continue going forward and never look back. Always maintain a positive attitude, it does not matter where you come from you can do and be anything you want. Motivation and determination lead you to great places.

When I graduated from high school, I decided to take a year off. That is when I met the love of my life, after one year of being together we decided to open our own business. We are now proud owners of a landscaping and snow removal service. We have now begun to transition fencing services into our company.

The love of my love was in and out of institutions prior to our meeting, with little direction or hope. He spent most of his life living locked up, we have now been together for 8 plus years and I have shown him life is not what he thought it was. To date he has been unweaving the effects of institutionalism and has been living free for 8.5 years, life is truly what you make it no matter the cloth your cut from.
